Different Scenes

When I found these artworks it was mentioned they were illustrated by Leon Roze, but to me they look more like the style from Gaston Smit. However I could not determine to which book they belong, a good reason to share them here 🙂

  1. I think you’re right, Mis Tique, they are almost certainly Smit’s work – and quite lovely examples, too.

    I thought I had seen all of Smit’s illustrations. It’s absolutely thrilling to think there may be others as yet undiscovered. Thank you so much for sharing these.
